As flu cases decline, visitors of all ages can return to local hospitals
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – As of Friday, March 16 at 7 a.m., all but one acute care Novant Health UVA Health System facility will lift visitor restrictions which were put in place Jan 12. The one medical center not lifting visitor restrictions at this time is Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center.

MANASSAS, Va. – Early detection of life-threatening heart disorders is made possible through nuclear cardiology procedures like those accredited and performed at Novant Health UVA Health System Prince William Cardiology Manassas. Recently, the medical office was granted an additional three-year term of accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in nuclear cardiology.
To help curb the spread of flu, Novant Health UVA Health System is asking the community for assistance
MANASSAS, V.A. – To best meet the needs of our community during this flu season, Novant Health UVA Health System is asking the community to keep visitors age 12 and under out of all but one acute care facility due to the widespread outbreak of the flu virus throughout the community. This restriction is effective on Friday, Jan. 12 at 7 a.m. until further notice. The one exception is Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center, which is allowing children accompanied by an adult into the emergency department, OB/GYN clinic, and the Family Birth Center with some restrictions.
