Physician and advanced practitioner opportunities
To practice at Culpeper Medical Center, physicians must meet specified criteria and pass a rigorous review procedure by the medical staff and board of trustees. An active peer review process continually monitors the credentials and performance of all of our healthcare providers, from family doctors and other primary care physicians to surgeons and specialists.
We are a tobacco/nictotine-free workplace
In support of our effort to improve the overall health of our workplace while reducing our healthcare benefit costs, Culpeper Medical Center will no longer hire individuals who use tobacco or nicotine products in any form. Effective March 1, 2014, all individuals who are offered a position with Culpeper Medical Center will be screened for tobacco/nicotine use as part of the pre-employment screening process. Positive results will lead to withdrawal of the job offer.
If you are denied employment due to a positive nicotine test, you are encouraged to take steps to stop the use of tobacco/nicotine products and re-apply for open positions after a period of six (6) months. Tobacco/nicotine products include, but are not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, snuff products, electronic devices such as electronic cigarettes, nicotine patches and nicotine gum.
