Will urgent care accept and file my insurance?
Yes, at UVA urgent care offices, nearly all insurances are accepted except for most out-of-state Medicaid, and we will file your insurance for you.
Will I have to pay anything at the time of service?
Most patients’ insurance has a co-pay amount that is due at the time of service (as is required at all doctors’ offices). Patients who don’t have insurance are also expected to pay for the service they receive at the time of service. UVA offers excellent prompt payment discounts.
