Prince William Medical Center master facility project in final phase
Work began in late March 2017 to create a new facade for Prince William Medical Center. While we have had our challenges as we connect a new structure to a building that is more than 50 years old, we are on track to complete the project in late March 2018.
To date, we have installed the curtain wall and windows in half of the façade and on the corners of the tower. Glass installation also is complete. Interior framing is ongoing and is about 80 percent complete. The interior work will gain momentum once we have conditioned air blowing throughout the space. All of our spray fireproofing — which is required to be installed on all metal beams — is complete. Next up is completion of all our mechanical, electrical and plumbing above ceiling rough-ins. Here's a look at the progress.
