Are you ready for some football?


It’s that time of year again. High school, college and professional teams are preparing for the season, and so is the NH UVA team. Our 2018 One Ask Survey opens Tuesday, Sept. 4 and we want to hear your voice! We’ll use a football theme to track our progress on a goal of 85 percent participation – and if any facility or entity meets that goal, you’ll be invited to attend a special tailgate celebration. Throughout the three week survey, you will be eligible to win prizes each week for your participation. Tickets for the opening “game” will be coming to you soon.

The One Ask survey collects your thoughts on how well you connect with your team, your leader and to the mission, vision and values of our organization. It helps us know where we’re doing well, and where we need to focus to improve on team member engagement.

A more engaged workforce helps with recruiting new team members to join our team.  You may be involved in helping interview candidates or touring them in your department.  You can also refer friends to us and encourage them to apply for open positions at our facility. Being proud of where you work and the commitment to caring for our community creates a draw for others to join our team.

Engagement also helps us retain talent. Trust in the organization, in your leadership and in each other helps us solve difficult situations and work together as one team. With an engaged workforce, we all work toward the same goal. We work together within and across departments with a focus on our patients.

So how do you show your engagement both within the organization as well as in the community?  We look forward to hearing your voice during the upcoming survey and continuing to focus our efforts to improve.
