As a health system, we strive to bring the highest quality care to our patients so they can stay close to home. On May 1, we will go live with exciting enhancements to our neurosciences service offerings including CT profusion, 24-hour code stroke expansion, ‘Code Stroke’ for overhead paging systems, and tele-stroke platform changes.
CT profusion allows patients to qualify for thrombectomy in extended window of six to 24 hours. This technology is used to evaluate acute stroke in a quick and effective manner. Additionally, the technology lets us pinpoint blood flow in the patient through non-invasive imaging and customize a care plan for the patient in an expanded window.
