What has earning this recognition meant to you?
It’s been an honor, especially knowing that you have to be nominated by your peers. It feels great to be recognized for exhibiting our organization’s mission, vision and values. I take great pride in my work and am proud to be a Novant Health team member.

What thoughts would you share to inspire those who are striving to make their Mark at Novant Health?
Always believe in yourself, and do your best.

Tell us a little about your family.
I am very close with my family. Many of my family members live here in Charlotte (both parents, my brother, grandparents on both sides, my aunt and a couple of my uncles), which is great, because we are able to spend a lot of time with each other. We travel, go to Panthers games and do other fun activities together.

Are you a cat or dog person?
Neither – I’m a cockatiel (bird) person! My childhood pet growing up was a cockatiel. My brother has one named Nibblez that I enjoy hanging out with.

What are your hobbies?
Photography, travel and Carolina Panthers football
