Novant Health UVA Health System Haymarket Medical Center and Novant Health UVA Health System Prince William Medical Center participate in this teleneurology network so that you always have access to highly qualified neurologists through 24/7 videoconferencing. This service is readily available in an emergency or for ongoing treatment of a stroke, brain aneurysm, concussion, brain tumor and epilepsy.

Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center also offers this telemedicine service and the tele-education (STAT) program because when it comes to stroke, every second counts. Through a secure telemedicine link, UVA Health System's stroke neurologists can examine patients in Culpeper and consult on their care using video technology. Very few hospitals, even large ones, have access to neurologists specializing in stroke care. With the advice and expertise of UVA stroke neurologists readily available, we are able to provide cutting-edge stroke care close to home.
